We will prep all surfaces appropriate for the current condition and apply generous amounts of coats of a high quality product to ensure longevity.
Proper preparation for wood surfaces requires a light sanding, which allows the pores to be opened up to absorb the stain. A wood surface without sanding will block the absorption and the stain will wipe off.
Here are some examples of different wood stains that can be used:
Wood Finish is ideal for Wood furniture, woodwork, cabinets, doors, trim, molding and hardwood floors
Gel Stain is ideal for Woodwork, doors, cabinets, furniture, molding, trim, accessories and non-wood surfaces such as metal, veneer and fiberglass - not recommended for floors
Water based wood stain is ideal for Wood furniture, woodwork, cabinets, doors, molding, trim - not recommended for floors
Polyshades is deal for Wood furniture, doors, woodwork, cabinets, accessories - not recommended for floors
Water based Woodsheen is ideal for Wood furniture, doors, woodwork, cabinets, accessories
Once the stain has dried, we will apply a clear finish to protect both the stain and the wood—and to make the final results look even more beautiful.
